Using counters (you could use buttons, beads, coins, pasta pieces etc) we are going to make different arrays and record the number sentences for them.
Let’s practise:
Get 16 counters and make them into an array, remembering there needs to be an equal amount on each row/column.
Next write as many calculations as you can to go with your array. Use your counters to make a different array and repeat.

Afterwards, complete the questions using the attached activity sheet with the amounts given.
